So back on new years eve, I decided that I really wanted to have long hair again, as my hair has been short for far too long now.
By the age of 21 though my hair had become dry and damaged, especially on my ends. I decided that some of my birthday and Christmas money would be spent on proper hair care, to improve the quality of my hair and thus resulting in my hair being able to grow.
These are the product that I purchased.
Moroccan Oil - £11
S-Factor 'Serious' Conditioner - £18
S- Factor Smoothing Lusterizer - £8
S- Factor Flat Iron Shine Spray Heat Defence - £9
S-Factor- Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner - £25
The main problem I faced was having dry hair. I therefore needed products that would bring moisture into my hair. The first thing that I purchased was my Moroccan Oil.
I have to say I love this Oil, i had been using Lee Stafford Argon Oil previously but didn't really notice much of a difference. My Moroccan Oil however is a godsend. I have now had it for exactly 6 months (that works well) and I have noticed a massive improvement in my hair especially the ends of my hair, which is where i focus my application.
I use it on wet hair before i blow dry it, then also as a finishing products after I've done my hair. All in all This product gets 10/10 and as I'm nearing the end of my bottle I'm looking to order the larger one next =]
The Next product on my list was to get a deep conditioner. I did a little research, and for a great price I bought this huge tub. I had heard about TIGI before but i only knew about the Bed Head Products. This S Factor range is what Sprung out to me but I wanted to try the deep conditioner before buying more products.
This deep conditioner smells AMAZING, it smells like strawberries and cream, but has a slight mint smell too i think. I use it once or twice a week, depending on the condition of my hair, and leave it in whilst using my Soap and Glory Breakfast Scrub, and my Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel, sometimes if I have the time I'll come out of the shower for a bit and leave it in for 15 minutes. But again only if i have the time. While I'm rinsing it out i can feel the effect, my hair feels smooth, and silky, and so hydrated.

The Smoothing Lusterizer however I have a love hate relationship with, as sometimes I love putting it on my wet hair, other times I feel that I may be putting too much product in my hair. I try to only use this if I haven't used my deep conditioner. Also again these both smell amazing!!
Finally i ordered the salon size Shampoo and Conditioner in the Smoothing range, as watched a review from Zoella on YouTube and thought I'd also give them a go. These smell even better than the deep conditioner, again they smell like strawberries and cream, but this time without the mint. I have found after using these in my routine my hair does feel smooth, and i look forward to having a shower as I love love love the smell of them both.
All in all I love my hair routine, I have been using them all now for the past 4-5 months and I have noticed that my hair is much more hydrated and doesn't snap, also I have noticed a considerable drop in the amount of split ends that I've been getting. Hopefully this will mean that the next time i go to the hair dressers she/ he won't be cutting of too much of my hair.
Most importantly other people have been commenting on how full, healthy and soft my hair looks, which always makes me smile.
Sorry today's post has been super long, but i hope you have enjoyed it, and it's helped anyone who has dry brittle hair like i did.
Lots of Love
